Classic apple chutney
Ingredients 1 ½kg change of state apples, bare-ass and diced 750g light-weight muscovado sugar 500g raisins 2 medium onions, finely shredded 2 tsp mustard seeds 2 tsp ground ginger 1 tsp salt 700ml vinegar
Method
STEP 1
Combine all the ingredients during a massive, significant cooking pan. Bring the mixture to a overboil a medium heat, then simmer uncovered, stirring oft, for 30-40 minutes, or till thick and nonwoody. take away from the warmth, leave to cool down, and transfer to sterilized, clean, dry jars and seal.
